The Wildcat Experience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Looking for fun time out? \u00a0This is something anyone can take part in and enjoy. \u00a0All you have to do is find the Scottish Wildcat! \u00a0132 painted models of the Scottish Wildcat have been sited around Newtonmore, \u00a0in the Cairngorms National Park. They form the\u00a0Wildcat Experience<\/strong>\u00a0– the treasure hunt with a difference! \u00a0Search for them in gardens, on roof -tops, up trees, and in windows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Certificates of achievement are awarded and there are prizes to be won depending on how many models you track down. This is a great time out in the fresh air and in spectacular surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To join the hunt, buy a Trackpack (\u00a310) from the Wildcat Centre, Main Street, Newtonmore PH20 1DD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wheelchair \/ pushchair friendly areas<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

98 of the model Wildcats can easily be spotted by wheelchair \/ pushchair users. With a bit of a bumpy ride along unmade roads a further 11 can be found. And if roads with a steep incline are not an obstacle, 13 more can be spotted. The remaining 10 are in places that are not accessible with wheels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
